I have fun posting random thoughts and feelings that I have here. As you can see, they tend to vary widely. I also hope that lots of people post comments, because it makes me happy to know that someone's visited my page and has left something of themselves behind. Okay, that kinda sounds creepy, like I collect souls or something. Maybe the transit people are getting to me. But really, this page's just a place where I let whatever stresses me out, amuses me, or interests me come out.
About Me
- Name: Jeanine
- Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Third year kinesiology student at U of A. I love sports, and I'm hoping to do my first triathalon and half marathon at the beginning of this next coming spring. Eventually, I plan to complete at least one iron man. Until then, I'll be happily riding my bicycle around the planet.

It's actually kind of ironic that you experienced that this weekend. I had a somewhat opposite experience. I've lived in the city all my life (in fact, i've lived in the same Riverbend house since I was born!!) and I never really gave much thought to a life that doesn't take place in the city. I've always thought it's just the pattern we have to follow - grow up, conform with everyone's expectations... even if it doesn't necessarily mean happiness.
This past weekend, however, I went up with Josh to his home near Dawson Creek. It was my VERY first time seeing how NATURAL people can live. Living out in the green, being near cows and goats... I was in awe.
Now that I've seen how much clean and pure life can be out in the country, Edmonton all of a sudden seems soo grimy.
I can't wait to be a country girl!

I think things are getting better now :)
Sarah and Heather and I are going to do a canoe trip, I got myself some camping gear, and as soon as I get a chance and I'm geared up, I'm going to throw my stuff on my bike and take off camping for a weekend!
