All about the lamp.

So there I was, rather sad and unmotivated, and getting sadder because I couldn't make myself feel motivated, spinning around in this vicious circle for almost a week. It was horrible. I had no idea what to do to stop it. I tried everything. I just needed something good to happen!!! And then it did!!
I got unrejected from MUGS!!!
I think it was because I scared Jenni, the mugs coordinator. I threatened to steal her lamp. Coercion by blackmail. I am indeed evil.

New thing learned:
Forget about valuables/first born/personal safety. Go for the lamp.

Where'd you get that picture? Is it possible to get it in Canada? My best friend Nina LOVES fishies and the water, especially Jenni's lamp.

Congrats on being a MUGL! Now we can both go crazy with the first years!

Hehe, thanks!! Wow, my excitement is steadily climbing upward. Soon I will go through the roof. That's okay, I can always use a sunroof. Natural sunlight.
Hmm, I got the picture from http://www.kidsquartersonline.com/zippy_fish_ensemble.htm but I do believe that that particular lamp is sold out. I do have the matching garbage can/miniature candle lamp/soap bottle to jenni's lamp though, and I got them at wal-mart and Jask. Check there. Yes, I love that lamp. I am rather obsessed... yay lamp!!!

In grade 9, I was a Hershey's Kiss for Halloween. My costume was 100% made of Tin Foil. Mom was a little annoyed that I used so much of it, but my costume looked AWESOME. I'll show you a picture one day.

Anyways, now I forget the point I was going to make with this seemingly random comment.

Oh yeah! Anyways, I won the Grade 9 Halloween contest! But the thing is, this costume was wayy too impractical for trick-or-treating. (I was a hardcore trick or treater until my First Year of University.)

So I decided to go trick or treating as a lamp! Yup, that's right. I painted my face a very neon yellow, and I put an old lampshade on my head. I got many compliments!

Anyways, I think this 'comment' turned into a post of my own! :)
Have a wonderful day!
I'm glad to hear you'll be a MUG - you're going to be FANTASTIC!

Man, you are so creative Anita!!! Wow, I want to be a lamp now. Hmm, I think next Halloween we should get together and have a good group theme going. Must brainstorm for then. And hey, tinfoil is cheap!! And being a kiss is well worth the cost of it (teehee!)
Nina,
Thanks for the Baton! As you can see, I've already passed it on! And I'm glad you love my blog. I'm quite fond of it also. Perhaps a little too fond of it... if I spent more time studying and less time blogging... I'm not even going to go there. And Megan, I have now batoned you. What are you doing... this coming Saturday night? Or.. not this Friday, but next friday? Both of those days sound like excellent ice cream days.
