I have fun posting random thoughts and feelings that I have here. As you can see, they tend to vary widely. I also hope that lots of people post comments, because it makes me happy to know that someone's visited my page and has left something of themselves behind. Okay, that kinda sounds creepy, like I collect souls or something. Maybe the transit people are getting to me. But really, this page's just a place where I let whatever stresses me out, amuses me, or interests me come out.
Third year kinesiology student at U of A. I love sports, and I'm hoping to do my first triathalon and half marathon at the beginning of this next coming spring. Eventually, I plan to complete at least one iron man. Until then, I'll be happily riding my bicycle around the planet.

Inukshuk - Means "like a person." An arrangement of stones, often resembling the shape of a human. The inukshuk is used as a navigational aid, as a marker for hunting grounds and caches of food or supplies, in hunting to lure geese and corral caribou, and as a way to mark sacred ground. These stone cairns embody strong spiritual and ancestral connections and have been erected by Inuit on the Arctic tundra for many generations. Also, the plural of inukshuk is "inukshuit". Pretty cool, eh? Now you know.
Ahh, the good old days back at camp when Audrée and I would gorge ourselves on this cereal and try and see if we could finish a single box of cereal between the two of us each morning after our run. We never could, but I never got sick of this stuff and it's still my all time favourite. Just imagining a single bite is practically enough to give me a cranberry-induced orgas... never mind.

If you haven't noticed, it has been roughly one year since I posted an accident tally. Blame the good weather, better shoes, or perhaps I hit my head enough that I somehow turned on the "caution" button. But regardless, I believe this is reason to celebrate! I have not almost killed myself in the last 12 months! Woot!
I just have to say, I sure slept 13 hours straight and I never realized how amazing my face looks without under eye circles! It's like magic!!!!

Well, I would like to say that all I want for Christmas is family, love, and good cheer. And for the most part, that is true.
